Delhi government clears proposal to shift 2,675 trees for Dwarka Expressway construction
New Delhi: Delhi government has granted permission to the much-delayed proposal for the construction of a 29 km-long Dwarka Expressway. On Friday, Union Road Transport minister said that the Delhi government had cleared a file and granted permission for the shifting of 2,675 trees to push the construction of an expressway that would connect Mahipalpur in Delhi with Kherki Daula in Gurugram.
The proposal for constructing 29 km expressway contains four packages. Package one and two would roughly contain 10 km which are in Delhi and the other two in Gurugram, which would contain nearly 18 km.
